Policies
Overdue Items, Fines and Replacement Charges
All LRC borrowers are responsible for the safe and timely return of LRC materials. The LRC will send a reminder notice before items are overdue but when they are seriously overdue, courtesy notices are sent. However, failure to receive a notice does not excuse a user from having their account blocked.
Group Study Room
The LRC offers 4 group study rooms for student & staff use. Selected study rooms may only be reserved in advance during study periods and finals by contacting the Circulation Desk. Otherwise, rooms are available on a first come first served basis. Group study rooms are limited to 2 people or more and unattended items will be moved. Group rooms are equipped with flat screen TVs to facilitate group study and presentation practice.
Lost and Found
The LRC operates a Lost and Found for items left in the LRC. Please check with LRC staff at the Circulation Desk if you have lost an item. Every Thursday afternoon all Lost and Found items are forwarded to the HR Office.
The LRC’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), is used for searching for print and e-book titles, and journals available in MTC. It provides information about the latest news and events in the LRC, new titles, most popular titles, LRC newsletters and online booking of the LRC facilities.
The LRC offers a growing print collection and access to myriad electronic resources via UOP and MASADER. These electronic resources are accessible on campus and off campus.
