MTC is committed to building constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with all of its stakeholders, including Ministry of Defence units and services, professional bodies, industry, other educational providers, alumni and the local community, in accordance with its strategic and operational plans.

The College aims, in particular, to meet its social responsibility by engaging with and supporting Omani society and ensuring its involvement in the continuing development and success of the Sultanate. Community initiatives aspire to share College knowledge and resources for the purpose of social development, to address societal issues and contribute to the public good.

Past activities include:

• Invitations to schools to visit MTC and learn about the College’s educational programmes and benefits
• Charitable donations to local special needs schools
• Shahin disaster relief
• Manufacture of masks during Covid-19 pandemic.
